A Design for Life
As a historically sensitive site with significant Grade II listed structures, the regeneration of Fort Bovisand provided notable challenges to overcome. But with those challenges came opportunity, potential, and a chance to continue the site’s illustrious, 150-year history into the next century by creating a series of world-class, luxury concierge homes and apartments.

“With the appointment of Dorset-based architects, ADP Architecture, we saw how their 50-years of intelligent building design would breathe new life into this landmark site. And, with a considered environmental and ecological approach, ADP also allowed the site’s extensive natural habitat to be preserved, protecting and supporting its rich wildlife long after the development is complete.
Working alongside Historic England and local conservation and planning officers, ADP gave careful consideration to the balance between old and new to give you a home and lifestyle with a true sense of place.
But the opportunity to give the development a sense of community has also been prioritised. Outdoor communal areas, a bistro café with rooftop terrace, a visitors centre and events space, and a collaborative co-working space all combine to ensure the development provides an exciting blend of lifestyle and convenience with a stunning, natural backdrop.
Together with the function and form of every individual residence, ADP’s concept represents a bold and contemporary style, one that blends seamlessly with the restored, existing structures, for residents and visitors alike.”
